What Do I do if I Break my iPad?
If you have private insurance, please call them to get the process started and get a claim number. Your insurance company will send you a box to send your iPad to them for repair. A parent must then call or email Mrs. Schirmer at 678-4434 or Lschirmer@oceansideschools.org and give her the claim number. The student should then go to Room 308 during advisory to pick up a loaner iPad.
Please make sure you back up your iPad and Notability* before you send it out to your insurance company.
If you don’t have private insurance, please go to Room 308 with a check for $50.00 made out to the Oceanside School District or $50.00 in cash to repair your broken iPad. You will be given a loaner iPad to use while yours is being repaired. Repairs done through the school take approximately 3 weeks.
Please make sure you back up your iPad and Notability* before you return your iPad to Room 308.
Please note that if you break the loaner iPad you will have to pay the full cost of the repair.
